Ally has faced over 15 surgeries already in her short five years. Her twin sister Katie is doing well and has been a big support and love in her life. Someday we hope and pray that she will join the decannulated group. Ally had her trach placed when she was 5 months old for Laryngomalacia. Ally was in the NICU for five months before she finally came home to us.

Alexandrea was born at 26 weeks on August 6, 2006. We are foster
parents, and we were called to take "Ali" on October 12, 2006. We were
able to go and see her for the first time on October 13, 2006. She had
just come out of recovery for getting her trach placed. We spent the
next week at her bedside everyday.

My husband and I were working at a Children's Home in Mexico, I had lived there since I was two. We had three little girls in our care, one of them I had raised since she was 5 and we were adopting her. We found out that I was pregnant and then the following day I found out it was twins. I was NOT excited at all!

Karyn-marie was born November 28, 2008. She was diagnosed with Down Syndrome and pulmonary hypertension while in the NICU. She was born three weeks early and was discharged when she was one week old. My 20 month old son had RSV, and ineviteably she was sick five days later.

Kalli was born on November 20th, 2005. She had severe IUGR. She only weighed 1 lb 4 oz. At her lowest weight, she was only 15 1/2 oz. We discovered this when I was 20 wks pregnant. Camden was born at 27 weeks weight 2lb 14 oz. The paralysis occurred when he was 2 weeks old,and had a Patent ductus arteriosus Ligation completed. He spent 4 month in the NICU.While there he also was diagnosised, with GERD and Tracheaomalacia. He was Trached on 10-10-08.
