He was born with a lot of problems, the most significant being &quot;severe microcephaly&quot; and &quot;chondrodysplasia punctata&quot;. Basically in a nutshell his brain did not develop in utero. Because of Ben's brain, he will never walk, talk or do any of the other things that his brother and sister's can do.
