Gracie was born on Nov 12,2009 at 38 weeks with Myelomeningocele Spina Bifida, Arnold-Chiari Malformation, and Hydrocephalus. Her Myelomeningocele was closed the day after birth and a VP shunt was placed at four days old to manage her Hydrocephalus. She spent 5 days in the NICU and a few more on the floor, she then came home.

Zade was born with the majority of his diagnosis'. He had his first surgery to repair his back on 10/20/09. He did excellent and only had to stay a total of 10 days in the NICU. He was breathing, eating and doing so well. He was home just a couple of weeks, then when he was 4 weeks old we had went to Spina Bifida Clinic and we got sent to the ER to have an emergency VP Shunt placed.

Ally has faced over 15 surgeries already in her short five years. Her twin sister Katie is doing well and has been a big support and love in her life. Someday we hope and pray that she will join the decannulated group. Ally had her trach placed when she was 5 months old for Laryngomalacia. Ally was in the NICU for five months before she finally came home to us.

Abby was born healthy on March 15, 2008. She had a slight heart murmur, but it has gone away. When she was 7.5 months old, she came down with Meningitis. All of her medical conditions stem from the Meningitis.

Alexandrea was born at 26 weeks on August 6, 2006. We are foster
parents, and we were called to take "Ali" on October 12, 2006. We were
able to go and see her for the first time on October 13, 2006. She had
just come out of recovery for getting her trach placed. We spent the
next week at her bedside everyday.

Riley William Broussard was born November 17, 2008 in New Orleans, LA at 10:58am weighing in at 1lb 10.5oz and 13in long. My due date was February 23, 2009. I had gone to the hospital with cramps and baby heart monitors and ultrasounds determined that Riley had to come out right then or he wouldnt have made it another 24-48 hours. My placenta was giving up and the blood flow was reversing.

Autumn was born with spina bifida on September 22, 2008. She has myelomengocele with level L4-L5, hydrocephalus with a VP shunt, and a severe Chairi II malformation.
