Svanfrídur Briana Romant was born on November 6, 1999 in Corpus Christy TX, she was lbs. 14 oz and 20 ¾ inches long healthy and beautiful. When she was about 6 months old she stopped gaining weight and her growth was very slow. I knew then that there was something wrong and started talking to her Dr. She kept telling me she was fine and that she was just going to be skinny like her mom!

My Granddaughter Liena had a Trachy done on the 26 October 2002 in the Children's Mater Hospital in Brisbane Queensland, Australia. Liena is 8 years old.

My name is Ken, I’m 48 years old and I’ve been trached since I was 9 due to complications with a fibroma that wraps around my esophagus and into my throat preventing me from breathing fully through my mouth and nose. Having the trach at such an early age I can’t remember being any different. My parents, siblings and friends were the key to my positive development and outlook in life.
