Dear all!My name is Anastasia Shevchenko, I'm mother to Mark Korkin. We live in Kazakhstan.Mark was born in time and till October 2008 was absolutely healthy boy. At 17.10.2008 he didn't feel well and we brought him to the hospital. He hat laryngotracheitis, stenos and polyps in his trachea. He experienced great difficulties to brief, after several hours he was intubated. At 08.11.2008 he already was trached. When we were going to leave the hospital, I asked the doctors: what are we going to do, when he will be decannulated? The doctors said, Kazakh hospitals have no equipment and no specialists to treat subglotic stenosis, to perform laryngoplasty and reconstruct trachea. We applied to Israeli hospitals for prices for laryngoplasty.First we applied through some agent to Medical Center Hadassah, in Jerusalem. We got the prices for the laryngoplasty- it's about 12.000 EURO. Additional we will have to pay 8.000 US $ for bronchoscopy, laryngoscopy, ph-metria before laryngoplasty and for 3 after -operational consultations by Dr. Ron Eliashar. Then we met in Internet the family whose baby was successfully decannulated 21/06/2009 at Children Hospital Dana at Medical Center Tel-Aviv Sourasky by Dr. Arie Derow. The child's mother showed Mark's docs to Dr. Arie Derow, now we're expecting the prices from Dana Hospital. We apply everywhere and ask people to help us, as we can't cover these expenses ourselves/We apologize for this, but please help us to find the money for the surgery in Israel. We don't speak English, Victoria Cheprunova - child's mother from Israel (child who was successfully decannulated 21.06.09) is our contact person. Her e-mail address: victoriapku@gmail.com She has the official correspondence with the hospitals!!! Please help!!!
