Anaya is a typical 12 year old girl born with the medical conditions listed below that make life as a 'tween' difficult. After getting out of the hospital at age 3 she was severely delayed in speech, movement, etc. Shortly after getting out she learned to walk, talk (without using sign language), and started to develop better communication skills.

Now, at age 12 she is in the 6th grade, at the high end of her class, but still has problems with concentration.

Anaya is at the stage socially where things are very difficult -wants to eat like other kids and yearns to be able to swim and play outside for long periods in the snow with the other children. She has friends at school but we would like her to have a penapl with a trach.

She loves Hanna Montana, High School Musical, The Secret Life of Zach and Cody, Madagascar, and any other things girls are into these days.
