On march 7th of 2007, I was blessed with one of the best gifts god could have ever gaven me,My precious daughter Vanessa Rhea. Shortly after she was born she had developed breathing difficulties followed shortly thereafter by stridor...They found her Subglotic hemangioma at the age of 6wks...She was treated in the beginning with massive amounts of steroids and 4 laser removal procedures which was unsucessful and building up more scar tissue causing more of an obstruction upon her airway.After many grueling trips back and forth to the hospital they finally sent us to Eglestons Childrens Hospital in Atlanta were she was placed upon life support to give her body a break from having to struggle so hard for air and placed her trach on June 13th of 2007.
