My Damien was born with Chronic Renal (Kidney) Diesease. He was put on the support twice within only a couple months apart. The second time we were unable to take him off life support so Dr told me we would have to trach him. So the day he turned 18months he went in to get his trach. He is currently very vent dependent but hopefully soon he will start getting winged from it.
