  My name is Francheska Joe I am Imond Joe's mother.  Our family has been through so much since Imond was born. Imond has a twin sister Imoni and a older brother Robert named after his father.  At three months i notice something was wrong with our son but his doctor was tellins us he was fine. Imond unlike his sister couldn't hold his head up, stand, nor move his arms to good. At six months we told his doctor he still wasn't improving.  Once again we were told "He would grow out out it, boy are slower than girls." I got fed up with them and demanded for sum type of help. the dotors office waited untill he was 8months to tell me about baby net.  I then start working with the people from babynet and the first thing that came out his EI's mouth was something isn't right.  To this day GOD has blessed me with her she got Imond the help he needed. He started going to theropy, getting MRIs, the works. We then started to work on getting him a diffrent doctor.  We then ran into problems we couldn't make any moves untill they sent his med. records. By now Mond was beging to move his arms and legs, but he was having trouble swallowing.  We demadned a swallowing test ,but it never happend and I tried to get him a diffrent doctor but that wasn't happening either. So as of Nov.21, 2009 i start seeing changes in his breathing and i took him to the doctor who were very nasty and told me they didn't know if they could see him because he was going to a diffrent doctor. Well after I informed her that if they would do there job and send his record i wouldn't be in there, she took  Mond in and he was seen.  At that point the doctor told me that his O2 was very low and they called ambulance to get him after 24hr they shiped him to Richland Children Hospital in Columbia S.C. where we have been for a month. WHen we got here the doctors told us He wasn't breathing well for a while.(may i remind u i have been taking him to the doc. every other week n to theropy) My husband and I were so upset. We also found out he had a enlarged heart and being that he wasn't moving some type of muscle disorder which i figured out on my own.  He had a trach put in last Wed.16th and I was a reck. I feel that I could have done more and this whole thing could have been prevented. It's a week tody so they should be changing his trach today or tomorrow. I have been praying since we've been here and so far God has held our family together even when the doctor told us it was nothing else they could do and he hasn't going to get any better. The lord has blessed him and I know in my mind, body, and sprit that he's going to be here and get better. I haven't start training to take care of his trach r g-tube im kind of nervous, but i'll be glad when he is well and we can go home. Im thankful to know that  it's websites like this to help people like me share there stories and ect. I look forward to  coming on here and getting to know diffrent people.
