Ryan is adopted and a 8 year old sweet, sweet boy! He was trached when he was 6 years old after he had a hip surgery he went into repirtory arrest. Thank the Lord it happened in the hospital since the Drs say he could have passed away at anytime he is a strong little boy. We spent 5 weeks in the hospital learning all the trach stuff and being over whelmed Now 2 years later Its a walk in the park! January of 08 my older son,19, also adopted was trached we spent only 4 days in the hospital cause I knew how to do it all.
