JD was born with a number of disabilities. To start he was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus at 2 months, corrected with shunt placement. Diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type I at 4 months. Has had g-tube, trach, O2, and ventilator dependencies since he was 4 months old. JD has also been diagnosed with GERD and Scoliosis.
