Sophie is just about to turn 10 and it's been a few years since we've been to Cincinnati to see Dr. Cotton and his team for a bronchoscopy to check on her tracheal reconstruction. The last time we were there they mentioned that her tonsils really needed to be removed. So, we are headed there for the procedure on October 14. She hasn't showed any signs of problems with her airway. In fact, she can swim the length of our pool under water with no problem and keeps up with her brothers running around the house like maniacs! She doesn't know about the pending tonsillectomy because she is always so upset to go to ANY doctor, much less to Cincinnati.
Other than GIANT tonsils, Sophie is a normal almost 10 year old girl and 4th grader. We owe everything to Dr. Cotton and his team!
