Bayden was born at 26 weeks and 3 days due to me having an incompetent cervix. He weighed 2 lbs and 2 oz and was 15 1/4 inches long. A week later they ordered a cranial CT and diagnosed him with a grade 3-4 bleed in his brain. He was still doing so well that they didn't think there was gonna be much damage. Then when he was 2 months old he went into surgery for a Nissen Fundoplication and G-Tube. During the surgery They administered plasma and there was an air bubble in the line which stopped his heart and caused him to code for 30 minutes. He came out of surgery and was a VERY sick baby. They didn't give him much of a chance at survival. But my little Bayden is a very strong boy and he fought so hard to come home with us. He is now 6 years old and the love of my life! He received his trach when he was 2 years old to prevent him from getting pneumonia. He doesn't swallow so he aspirates his secretions.
