Hi my name is Adrianna Jenae Nicole. i was born on Jan 28, 2010. My mommy had to have a c section because her bones were to small to push me out. After being in labor for 11 1/2 hours she finally had me. When i came out my mommy i wasn't crying becuase i had some of my poop in my throat and i also swolled some liquids in my mommy when they were pulling me out of her. The next day the hospital had to transport me to another hospital because i had difficutly breathing. The doctors right away hooked me up to oxygen because i didn't have enough when i go to sleep. The doctors started to do a lot of tests and x rays on me but everything was coming back normal. They finally did a genetics test on me to see if i might have central congenital hypoventilation. After weeks and weeks of waiting they finally got the results back and it came back positive for me having it. 2 days after getting the results they did surgery on me and i had to get a trach. I'm doing real good with the trach but i'm still in the hospital because i need to learn how to nipple feed. I been on the NG tube and its hard for me to get the hang of the bottle feeding and if i can't get the hang of it and if it goes into my lungs they might have to do surgery on me and give me a G tube in my tummy. This has all been hard on my mommy. I'm her first little angel and my mommy is only18. She prays for me every day and the lord has truly blessed me. She has a lot of support from my family. I get a lot of loving from them everyday. "I AM A FIGHTER AND I WILL GET THROUGH THIS" thats what my mommy always tells me :).
