Ashley Dawn Connor was born Aug. 21, 1992. She has a trach due to tracheomalacia, vocal cord paralysis and 90% of her upper airway is obstructed due to scare tissue from a 2 1/2 pound tumor around her neck when she was born. Ashely also has a g-tube, BPD, hypothyroid, seizure disorder, Asthma and C. P. She is also developmentally delayed. Now that I have told you most of her disabilities, let me tell you her abilities. She walks, she signs, she uses a Dynamite communication device. She uses a computer. She roller skates (we just don't tell anyone the wheels are tighten). She is an absolute delight. She makes me smile and laugh all the time. She has beaten all odds and enjoys life and most things it has to offer (OK, she doesn't enjoy homework and a few other things). She is truely a GIFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
