my son was born 2 months early with chronic lung disease and pulminary hypertension.  He is also a little person.  He was trached at 2 months and had a ventilator for a year.  He was very ventilator dependent.  He got off the vent after about a year.  We are still trying to help him gain weight but we are on the right track now.  He is doing well.  He is such a blessing and a fighter.  God has made him very strong.  He has changed our life so much.  He is starting to talk alot around his trach. He is 3 now and will soon be going to preschool for 2 days out of the week with his nurse.
