Tyler was born 11/24/06 his due date was 2/18/07.He was born at 27wks .My water bag broke at 21 weeks and I was admitted into the hospital on strict bed rest for a month. I was so scared (terrified) because I didn't know what was going on. Some of the doctors that I came in contact with were telling me to abort Tyler saying that he wouldn't serve and that he would have so many problems, but I was already in love at that time. Well I held on to Tyler for a whole month and was schedule for an emergency C-section due to Tyler being breached and me not having any amniotic fluid. I had Tyler on 11/24/06 the day before my 26th birthday the best birthday present ever. He was born at 27 weeks he weighted 2 pounds 2 ounces his due dates 2/18/07.He stayed on the Ventilator for the longest (which hurt him and helped him) Once he was taken off the ventilator I was told that the pressure from the machine damaged his little lungs so much that he now has Chronic Lung Disease. They tried steroids a couple of time which worked while they were in his system but once they were out his fought to breath. So they told me that he would have to be trached. He was trached on 3/19/2007 and had G-tube and Nissan surgery on 4/5/2007.Tyler stayed in the NICU for 7 long months. He is currently at home sprinting most of the day on 1% oxygen. Hopefully he will be discannual in November for his second birthday.
