2nd Sleep Study attempt in November
Hello Everyone!
My little girl whose now 19 months will have her 2nd sleep study on November 12th. I'm extremely hopeful this time because her first one was at 16 months, so 5 months of growth and development should increase our chances for decannulation soon. She'll be about 21 months when we actually get the results and the last time we met with the doctor - he said that she will get her trach out soon and that it takes normally 18-24 months for the Laryngomalacia to heal on it's own. So if she's breathing room air (high sat levels) during her first sleep study but with shallow breathing results - I'm hoping that there is no more shallow breathing and that the results are much better! Who knows, we might get an awesome Xmas present?! Wish us luck!
