have two girls,one boy still in hospital since may 27,2009 my son still in hospital with trach.and feeding tube,bpd,my girls are home one on oxygen,otherone one feeding tube.they all have bpd and have been threw heart surguryand so many others,i so worried oh god when my son comes home with oxygen and feeding tube.hes coming home soon after we learn how to take care of trach.and cpr and need to talk to someone thank you and god bless

how do you keep tubing to stomach away from baby, so they will not pull on it so many things have to learn ,but power of praying and jesus will always help

My name is lacy i have a 10 month old with a trach. we still have no diagnosis. i'll be be honest i have my good days, bad, and really bad. But the good days are soooo good. You will learn. I remember people saying that one day it will be nothing just like changing a diaper. I would just wonder how that could ever be possible. But now it is. I know what you are going
I know what you are going through, my little girl ended up with a trach in may 09, she has a g-button and since july 09 she has been on a vent. Sometimes it can be overwhelming at first, you learn a lot, and a lot you never thought you could do, but you will and before long it will be second nature to you. There are still aggrivating days like when she needs to be suctioned a lot but they pass and you realize how lucky you are to just have your babies! im new at this im just so scared,his coming home in march,pray to jesus if me best know to learn fast so i can get him home from rehab in st louis,sorry im not good at this yet but will learn.. thank you god bless all
