My dear little man passed away in my arms on 11-19-09. I miss him dearly. His trach got clogged due to rsv while we were all asleep. they brought his heart back but he was on life support for the breathing. and he never woke up. His brain was too severely damaged.

My son just had his trach placed last saturday. I am so scared of the trach its weird. All the other things we have dealt with have been nothing compared to this. I am not sure how to handle it. I feel bad that he is in so much pain, and then I look at him and he has a smile ear to ear. i guess i am the one who is really acheing.
