Imond is trying his best. they try taking him off the breathing machine he stayed on it for 45 mins then he got tired im so proud of him.

Imond is doing fine I have changed his trach for the first time. He smiled for the first time since we've been here. God is still by our sides.

Hi, my name is nellie.
My son is also on a Home vent. Now he can tolerate being of the vent for up to 4 hours or more. We started with 30 min. then we went higher and higher. So he sleeps on his feedings so he gets put back on the vent. As of right now he tested + for RSV so I try to keep him on the vent, he does'nt like it, but its the best thing for right now. He just turned one and he was my best christmas for this year,beause he had such a had year that I am so bleesed with his life being with me and our family. I thank you for that. My name is Francheska. He will be one on Feb. 10 and we might go home Mon. or Tue. not sure. Umm we found out that he has a rare disease called Pompe and we're waiting to hear from doctors weather he's CRIM+ or CRIM-. if he's - then we have to go to Duke University If + he can stay here and get treated but it wont cure it just slow the process down. I will keep my page updated and i thank you again.
